Meet Theodore

Maternity shots with the Keller Family is where my photography business journey began so I couldn't be happier to introduce you to this little man! Meet Theodore. Theodore was born on July 11th weighing 8 lbs. 3 oz. and was 21 in. long.

Of course the first thing I wanted to do when I arrived at the Keller's was snuggle this precious little guy! 8 lbs. seems big but it is really tiny. After finding a room to set up in and snuggling Theodore for a bit I got straight to work snapping away. Theodore did NOT like the idea of this newborn photo shoot. Mommy and Daddy describe Theodore as calm and pretty chill most of the time but yesterday he was a bit out of sorts and did not want to be photographed.

Priscilla and Matt  are big Notre Dame fans so of course we had to get some football pics of the mini fan. At our maternity shoot Matt took the opportunity to hang a "Play Like a Champion Today" poster over Baby K's bed. When Priscilla finished getting ready and noticed the poster she was NOT pleased with Matt's decorating skills and asked him to take it down. He hangs things like my husband and informed her that there would be HUGE holes in the wall if he took it down because it was very secure. This caused a bit of tension in the Kellar house and I tried to offer some encouraging words but Priscilla was not happy about it. I think she has since changed her mind and it goes well in the nursery.

I think Theodore is going to have lots of fun growing up playing, watching and going to games with mommy and daddy.

Since we got some football pics especially for daddy we had to take some Dr. Seuss ones for mommy!

Daddy was amazing with Theodore and remained calm as he wailed. The only thing that seemed to quiet Theodore was daddy swinging him in his arms or snuggling up on his chest and patting his back. It was so fun to watch Priscilla and Matt in their new roles as mom and dad and see how they fit together as a little family.

Matt calmed Theodore and we snapped a few family shots. I am amazed that any of them turned out and look like a calm baby with a smiling mommy and daddy!

I hope you enjoy the slide show :) <3!
